CFDA Awards 2013
Monday, June 3rd Lincoln Center was all glitz and glamour due to the amazing CFDA fashion Awards, this annual event recognizes the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry and related arts, with awards being given for the design excellence in womenswear, menswear, and accessories as well as extraordinary accomplishments in journalism, creative vision, and lifetime achievement. The red carpet was hot with looks that were reminiscent of the 30's, I guess Great Gatsby has left an impression on the fashion styling world after all. I also noticed that the hair was sleeked back, which I am embracing wholeheartedly, and the ladies that had the long tresses were the same ones that have worn their hair that way for years, like Rachel Zoe, Mary Kate Olsen, etc.
