Time for "Red Bottoms" class

The first time I heard about Christian Louboutin's I was in New York and two ladies where discussing the amazing new designer shoes with red paint on the bottom of the sole, that was in 2002. I didn't think that they were all that special till the day I saw his iconic slingback with the red peek-a-boo platform, that's when I told myself I needed to work extra hard to acquire that particular shoe. But if you know nothing about me yet, you need to know I don't buy high end pieces without further investigation of the designer. Christian Louboutin was born and raised in Paris, France. He was the only boy of 4 children. He was darker in complexion of all the people in his family and was ostracized for it. Getting in a lot of trouble as a boy, he dropped out of school at age 12 and ran away from home. His mother allowed him to stay with friends. He started sketching shoes in his teenage years, his first job was at  Floies Bergeres, where he assisted the entertainers backstage. He was huge partier, and clubbed along side Mick hagger and Andy Warhol. His first shoe design job was with Charles Jourdan, then apprenticed with Roger Vivier. he also freelanced for Chanel, YSL, and Maud Frizon. He stopped being a freelance designer and started his Landscape design business, he actually didn't start designing shoes till 1991. Princess Caroline of Monaco was his first customer, after her public admiration of the store, Diane von Furstenberg and Cathering Deneuve followed. His professed goal has been to "make a woman look sexy, beautiful, and to make her legs look as long as he can." Christian's red bottoms colour code is registered as Pantone 18-1663 TPX. The investment for this shoe starts at $495.00 and goes upward to $8000.00 ( for the prive diamond stone pair).
